As a professional employee, there are four necessary characteristics which a professional employee should have. Good working ability, great communication skills, excellent paper work or writing ability, responsibility.

    First, a good working ability is the first important session in your job. According to Walker, a professional employee need have a sense of ownership of their work. Professionals work for the organization as if they were working in their own business(Walker, 2014). Second, great communication skills are the necessary part of employee. Whenever an employee need to communicate with others, even more, in negotiation or meetings. Having proper skills would make your career bright. Third, an excellent paper work ability is dispensable, a professional employee need have a business writing class when he was in school. In business, people always negotiate with contracts, price and other things. Poor writing would make clients feel inexperienced and revolted; perhaps it leads to lose (Worth, 2014). Forth, an professional employee must have responsibility on life and job. Professionals seek and accept responsibility. An employee can be trusted in daily working and given high levels of responsible job within the organization. A professional is handed tasks at such a high level, that poor performance can reflect poorly on the entire organization not just the individual (Walker, 2014).  

Obviously, an professional employee have so many important characteristics. But, if you wanna be a professional employee, you need to know how to be a excellent person in life. You might learn so many standards in your daily life.
